ABA Foundation

2025 Community-Driven Banking Series

For a century, the ABA Foundation has been at the heart of advancing bank engagement and investment in communities. In honor of the ABA Foundation's 100th Anniversary, we are hosting a free, three-part webinar series focused on equipping and empowering banks of all sizes to purposefully create transformational economic change.

Help Consumers Get Banked in the 2025 Tax Season

The upcoming tax season affords opportunities to offer communities free basic tax return preparation and increase access to banking products. The ABA Foundation hosted a webinar to highlight new FDIC research to better understand the role that IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) providers have in helping get more people banked and guiding them along the path to financial stability. Learn about the benefits and specific opportunities for your bank to partner with local VITA sites and support free tax assistance.

Unlocking Homeownership: Empowering Communities through Housing Education

ABA Foundation launched a new industry-wide initiative mobilizing banks in providing homeownership education and counseling to their customers and communities. In partnership with NeighborWorks America, Rebuilding Together and Wells Fargo, this long-term, multi-sector campaign seeks to address the housing education needs of the nation’s low-to-moderate income population. This webinar shared free resources for banks of all sizes to educate communities on homebuying and home retention strategies to expand homeownership and wealth generation for all.

2024 Achieving Your Bank’s Community Impact Goals

2024 promises to be another year of economic uncertainty, shifting consumer priorities and new global challenges. Is your bank prepared to navigate these changes and hit its community engagement and financial health goals? This webinar covers trends set to dominate corporate philanthropy this year and provide a sneak peek of free campaigns and tools to help your bank drive its consumer education, affordable housing and financial inclusion goals.

2024 Community-Driven Banking Series

As banks deepen their engagement in the communities they serve, those communities become more prosperous, equitable and resilient. But not all banks have the resources or people power to build meaningful and impactful relationships with communities. These webinars offer real-life examples of community-driven approaches and innovations.
