David Goetsch, Executive Producer and Comedy Sitcom Writer

Dave Goetsch was an executive producer and staff writer for “The Big Bang Theory” after starting his career with the show “3rd Rock from the Sun.” For a decade, he taught “Linked Narrative Storytelling for the Web” at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.

Steve Chiavarone, Head of Multi Asset Group, Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and Equity Strategist, Federated Hermes

Steve Chiavarone has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry. He currently formulates Federated Hermes’ views on the economy, financial markets and the firm’s investment positioning strategies. He previously worked at U.S. Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management as a project manager in the Office of the Investment Management COO.

Dan Clifton, Partner and Head of Policy Research, Strategas Securities

At Strategas Securities, Dan Clifton evaluates the financial market implications of policy and political developments. He leads Strategas’ Washington policy research team, which has been ranked one of the top on Wall Street for 15 consecutive years by Institutional Investor. Dan is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business.

Falguni Desai, Managing Director, Senior Advisor, Banking & Capital Markets, Microsoft

As a corporate strategy, transformation and mergers and acquisitions leader, Falguni has more than 25 years of global experience in the trading, banking, financial market data and fintech sectors. At Microsoft she is a Senior Advisor in the Banking & Capital Markets sector, working with the world’s largest financial institutions, advising on transformation, value creation and growth plays. As an active author and speaker, her work has appeared in over 75 articles with business media such as Forbes, Business insider, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, South China Morning Post, TechCrunch and Fintech Magazine.

Kelly Finegan, Head of Multi-Manager Solutions, Northern Trust

Kelly Finegan is head of multi-manager solutions, leading manager research and portfolio-construction processes across the multi-manager group. She is responsible for the global manager research platform, consisting of over $100 billion in assets across more than 200 investment strategies. She manages a team of more than 25 investment professionals covering a wide array of asset classes. The team covers all external manager relationships on behalf of Northern Trust's private and institutional clientele.

Chip Hughey, CFA, Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Fixed Income, Truist Advisory Services Inc. 

Chip Hughey leads the Investment Advisory team responsible for establishing Truist’s fixed income strategy and outlook. He has more than 19 years of investment experience in asset allocation strategies, portfolio management, investment research, market strategy and new business development. Chip is also a frequent contributor to financial media, including Bloomberg, Barron’s, CNBC and The Wall Street Journal.

Steve Lerch, Expert in Digital Strategy, Marketing, Consumer Behavior & Innovation; Former Google Executive; Founder & President of Story Arc Consulting

Steve Lerch is an award-winning international public speaker, consultant, and former Google Executive, and has become a highly respected voice in the world of digital strategy, marketing, consumer behavior and innovation. Steve leverages his nine years at Google serving as a digital strategy consultant to dozens of the world’s most well-known brands to bring independent consulting services to companies of all sizes and across all industries. He offers an outside perspective on a company’s vision and strategy, challenges organizations to evolve past strategies and helps brands embrace a digital-first world.

Greg Maddox, Product Management Executive, Investment Solutions, Wells Fargo Investment Institute, Inc.

Greg Maddox is the head of Global Manager Research, a division of Wells Fargo Investment Institute. Wells Fargo Investment Institute, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo Bank N.A., is focused on delivering the highest quality investment expertise and advice to help investors manage risk and succeed financially. In this role, Mr. Maddox is responsible for managing a global team of investment professionals charged with screening, selecting, and overseeing the money managers used throughout Wells Fargo Advisors, Wells Fargo Private Bank and Abbot Downing. Over the course of his career, Mr. Maddox has helped to create and distribute over a dozen different mutual fund, variable annuity, and hedge fund products for organizations such as banks, insurance companies and independent investment advisors and has served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Treasurer, Vice President and President of many of these funds.

Ric Mayfield, CFA, CAIA, Senior Vice President, Managing Director — Manager Research, Truist Advisory Services Inc. 

Ric Mayfield leads the Investment Advisory team responsible for sourcing Truist’s traditional manager selection. He has more than 31 years of investment experience in investment due diligence, market analysis, and portfolio management and construction. Prior to his current role, Ric held positions at SunTrust, Wachovia Bank and AmSouth Bank.

Kevin A. Pemberton, Americas COO, Investment Management , Banking & Capital Markets, Microsoft

Kevin is the Americas COO for Investment Management in the Banking & Capital Markets practice at Microsoft. In this role, he advises asset and wealth management clients and custodial banks on business model innovation, platform modernization, and strategic tech investments to drive growth and competitive advantage. He is also an advisor for start-ups at the Martin Trust Center for M.I.T. Entrepreneurship and a lifetime member of the Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Lab at M.I.T. He also serves as an advisor to Fintechs to Microsoft for Startups, a presales program that enables startups to build on Microsoft Azure.

Anna Snider, CAIA, Managing Director and Head of Investment Manager Selection (Due Diligence) for the Chief Investment Office (CIO), Bank of America Corp.

Anna Snider is responsible for manager research and implementation guidance across all asset classes supporting Bank of America Private Bank, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions. She has decades of investment and risk analysis expertise, with roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, JPMorgan and UBS. Anna is also a voting member of the Global Wealth & Investment Management Investment Strategy Committee.
