2024 Core Platforms Survey

The relationship between banks and their core providers plays a pivotal role in the deployment of modern, innovative tools essential for maintaining competitiveness in today's dynamic financial marketplace. Recognizing the importance of this relationship, member banks have consistently identified it as their primary non-policy concern.

To further understand and address the evolving landscape, ABA conducted its third comprehensive survey in late 2024 involving both bankers and core providers. This dual perspective provided valuable insights into areas of alignment and divergence between banks and their core providers regarding attributes critical to bank success.

This year's report not only presents aggregated survey findings but also offers detailed insights on the solutions offered by the top five core providers based on response rates. With participation from 780 bankers and 15 core providers, this report serves as a critical resource to guide the future of bank/core provider relationships, helping banks deliver innovative products and services to meet customer needs.
