Volunteer Day 2022

At First Interstate Bank, we’re proud to be an active part of the communities we serve, and helping our neighbors is central to our mission. One of the many tangible expressions of this commitment to community is our annual Volunteer Day, held every September, when we close our doors at noon and give employees the remainder of the workday to volunteer at a local nonprofit of their choice.

In 2022, we marked the fifth edition of this philanthropic initiative, which we introduced in 2018 to celebrate First Interstate’s 50th anniversary.

Volunteer Day is highly rewarding for all involved. Our employees enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to support causes they are passionate about, and local organizations appreciate the extra assistance. In addition to providing nonprofits with valuable labor, we also offer mini grants to cover the costs of certain supplies for the service projects our employees are involved with.

Giving back is an important part of who we are, and when we mobilize to take care of our communities, our employees are with us every step of the way. Our people are energized by the Bank’s community involvement and look forward to opportunities to join with their colleagues to make a larger collective impact.
