United Acts of Kindness Day

Each year, on February 17th, our nation unites to celebrate others through acts of kindness. First United Bank recognizes the power of collective generosity, involving individuals, community leaders, churches, nonprofits, and businesses, to be a beacon of hope in a world that can often feel dark. It is in this spirit that United Acts of Kindness Day was born. United Acts of Kindness Day is a special occasion for the First United community to spread joy, hope, and love to friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors. Whether the acts of kindness are grand or small, what truly matters is the thoughtfulness behind each gesture as we strive to positively impact the communities we serve.

On Friday, February 17, 2023, the 3rd Annual United Acts of Kindness Day was launched, and the response was nothing short of inspiring. First United surpassed its goal of completing 300,000 acts of kindness in 2023, taking a significant step forward in realizing its vision of elevating 10 million lives by 2030. We extended an invitation to all community banks, financial service teams, corporate departments, and valued customers and communities to actively participate. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of the First United community to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
