UBT's Financial Literacy Program

Union Bank & Trust's Financial Literacy Program was created as a free service for community nonprofits, K-12, institutions of higher education and the community members they serve in the greater Lincoln, Nebraska area. Since inception, the Financial Literacy Program has allowed Union Bank to make a significant impact on the financial wellness of the Lincoln community, nonprofit sector, and its citizens. This is accomplished through classes, workshops, and financial coaching, primarily working through local nonprofits and other community groups at their locations for facilitation.

This structured program delivers a macro benefit to the community by directly delivering services developed by the bank rather than through a third-party organization.

Customized financial learning experiences are developed for each organization by UBT's Financial Literacy Program Manager and are offered via Zoom or traditional classroom settings. The program covers more than 40 financial educational topics designed to empower community members and students with tools and skills to build their financial foundations.
