Fulton Bank Military Internship Program

Fulton Bank recognizes the unique talents veterans and active military personnel bring to the workplace — and the community. Through a myriad of initiatives and policies, Fulton honors service members and is fully committed to providing opportunities to help them grow rewarding careers.

Military Internship Program — 10th Anniversary!

Launched in 2013, Fulton’s Military Internship Program is a six-month paid internship program that helps veterans transition back into the workforce with on-the-job training in the financial services industry. Upon completion of the internship program, participants are provided with job search support, both at Fulton and throughout the industry.

Veterans Employee Resource Group

In 2021, Fulton established a Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG) to ensure that veteran employees have access to the knowledge and resources they need to grow and succeed. Today, VERG includes over 50 members uniting veterans and allies as they network and build relationships within the Bank and the community.

Diverse Business Banking

Fulton recently launched a Diverse Business Banking program designed to meet the unique needs of veterans, among other diverse business owners, and to help them start, grow and build small businesses. The cornerstone of the program is Fulton Bank’s Diverse Business Advocates, who can provide one-on-one mentorship, educational resources, and custom solutions to meet the needs of veteran business owners.

Differential Pay

When an employee is called to active-duty, Fulton provides differential pay on a bi-weekly basis for up to 26 weeks. The employee continues to have benefits and can make contributions to their 401k from the differential pay.

Together with other human resources policies, these programs comprise the Fulton Military Support Program.
