Full-circle nonprofit engagement with FC

Focused Community Strategies (FCS) was founded in 1978 and has worked with under-resourced neighborhoods across Atlanta to provide innovative and holistic support, working side-by-side with residents to fill housing, economic, and social needs. Regions Bank has supported the organization’s economic development and neighborhood engagement programs since 2020. Based on outcomes from these grants, the Regions Foundation, an Alabama-based nonprofit funded primarily by Regions Bank, provided a $75K grant in 2023 to support a mixed-income housing project in South Atlanta, complete with wraparound services to help renters and homeowners successfully stay in their homes. Regions Bank and Regions Foundation are proud to be a part of the FCS mission, which has helped raise the homeownership rate to 60%, with low- and moderate-income families making up 30% of homeowners. Regions Bank associates support the mission of the organization through volunteering, and Regions Bank supported a contest among Carver High School art students to design a reusable shopping bag for the market.
