Maintaining your certification
Keep up-to-date and in-the-know
Every certification has specific requirements for maintenance, usually in three-year increments (see individual certification pages for details). These requirements ensure that designees have the most current information on regulations, industy trends, and new thinking. In-person events, telebriefings, online courses and self-study aids can all help you maintain your valuable certification for years to come.
To make maintaining your professional designation easier, all ABA conferences and schools, as well as many online courses and telebriefings are worth a certain number of continuing education (CE) credits. You may also be able to get credits through other events. In addition, every issue of ABA Trust & Investments, ABA Bank Marketing and ABA Bank Compliance contain continuing education quizzes.
