ABA ENDORSES ID THEFT PROTECTION PRODUCTS OFFERED BY AFFINION SECURITY CENTER

Recent Endorsements Join Affinion Group's Checking and Insurance Products For ABA Recognition

WASHINGTON – The American Bankers Association (ABA) has endorsed the identity theft protection solutions offered by the Affinion Security Center (ASC). 

Designed for both consumers and businesses, the newly endorsed products include ASC's flagship IdentitySecure as well as BreachShield, PrivacyGuard, ID Secure, Card Cops, PC Safety Plus, and Hotline.  Banks can choose an identity theft protection solution that matches its needs, which was an important factor when considering the endorsement.   ASC's products were chosen after a review and analysis by ABA and its affiliate, the Corporation for American Banking.  

This is an addition to the previous ABA endorsements of the Affinion Group's insurance (Customer Appreciation Program) and checking account enhancement programs.

The newly ABA-endorsed services can be designed as white label solutions for banks to offer their customers that are branded, effective identity theft protection services.  With incidents of identity theft on the rise, this endorsement comes at a time when consumers are particularly at risk and looking to their financial institutions for solutions to this growing crime.  Early detection of identity theft benefits financial institutions by minimizing the amount of fraudulent charges incurred on a customer's accounts.
